One of the best items we have had with each of our little ones has been our swing! They all have loved it , but honestly I was never a fan of the jerky swinging motion. I also always felt that our babies outgrew the seat of the swing way before I was ready to put the swing away , and as they grew the movement of the swing also slowed down. The other downfall of our previous swing was that it was battery operated and since it was used so often we were constantly changing batteries.

When we began planning our holiday gift guide I was thrilled to get the chance to receive the new Cozy Coo Sway Seat by InGenuity.

When it showed up on my doorstep my hubby was at work so I decided to attempt to put this together on my own. Now let me preface this by saying I am a girly girl, I like to help my husband around the house...but I don't really know how ;-) I don't use tools, the few times I have tried to use a screwdriver I have ended up stripping the screws ;-/ So I was a little nervous in setting out on this project, but I really wanted our girl to be able to use it.

So I set out to work, I was seriously amazed at how easily and quickly this came together! The first great thing was I only needed to use a screwdriver I think twice, and it was all in the same step. The whole thing came together in about 20 minutes and that was with a 19 month old trying to "help" me.

From the moment I had this together I loved everything about it! First I love the look of it, its cute without being overly "kiddy", our swing always has been in our living room so I love that this one fits! Its neutral colors just make it look great! I also love the size of the seat, I feel like she will be able to use this for many more months, where in our old swing she might have a month or 2 left and then it would be time to pack it up.

Remember all the things I mentioned above that I didn't like about our other swing? Well the great thing about the Cozy Coo Sway seat is that it doesn't have any of those same characteristics, the movement is a  soothing side to side motion instead of that jerky swinging I was talking about earlier. The Cozy Coo also has a plug in feature you can use, we love this! Some other great features that our little girl loves are the soothing sounds it plays, you have 11 different sounds to choose from and you can even set a timer for the swaying motion. Our little Claire is also starting to really enjoy the little animals above. If I had one complaint about this swing it would be that it doesn't have a toy bar over the lap. Our old swing had one and I thought it was silly because our kids were always to big for the seat before they could play with the toys on it, but with this seat being so much roomier I know that a toy bar would be a benefit, but those are easy enough to purchase and add on yourself. So I would definitely recommend the Cozy Coo Sway seat over other swings out there!

You can purchase the Cozy Coo Sway Seat for $119.99 and its available at Target. One of you will win this for your home! Please fill out the entry form below for your chance to win! This giveaway will stay open until Tuesday Nov. 20th! Good Luck!!
