Firehouse Subs Review and Giveaway

We've finally had time to settle into our new home & that means getting familiar with the area around us, the fastest growing area closest to us is Alliance. It's just a few exits down & it seems like every time I visit, I see a new clothes store, restaurant, etc. I've heard about Firehouse Subs through a few friends online & after driving by a few times, I knew it was a restaurant I wanted my family to try out!

As soon as Hubby, Little Sister C & I walked in the doors, we were happily greeted by the Firehouse Subs team, looking around the restaurant, I immediately noticed all of the Firemen decor & the huge painting on the wall of a local Fort Worth Firetruck! From the red stools & chairs to the dalmatian spotted table, I had a feeling this was a fun & popular place to eat & I loved the devotion to Firefighters!

So Hubby & I headed over to grab ourselves drinks & to my awe we saw an interesting machine standing in front of us! It didn't look like your average soda dispenser for fountain drinks & luckily Hubby had used it before & knew what to do! Using the touch screen, just scroll through & select your drink preference, they even have additional flavors you won't find at other places like my favorite, Cherry Dr Pepper, so fun!

We sat down & had the pleasure of chatting with Ryan & Josh, Ryan is the Firehouse Subs Texas area representative & Josh is the local franchisee! I loved hearing their history, stories, talking about our families together & finding out more about Firehouse Subs!

Firehouse Subs has over 600 locations in 35 states & is continuing to grow! In 2005 they established a non-profit public safety foundation, with a goal in mind to provide funding as well as life-saving equipment, disaster assistance & educational opportunities to first responders & publish safety organizations. How amazing is that? I can't say that I know many companies that have foundations as important as this one! Firehouse Subs was founded by firemen & is dedicated to treating their customers well & feeding them even better!

With that being said, I was so excited to get started on trying out menu items & I have to warn you, the below pictures might just have your mouth watering & your stomach rumbling-hopefully you have a Firehouse Subs near you!

Little Sister C started off with a grilled cheese & a pickle, this child has never had a pickle in her life & stole mine & hubby's numerous times! She also received a kids size firemen hat & a rice krispie treat, which made her super happy!

So while we were all chatting, the Firehouse Subs team quickly went to work, creating delicious menu items for us to try, don't worry, I didn't eat all of this by myself, I shared with Hubby!

All of the subs smelt wonderful & looked even better, the Hook & Ladder contains smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham & melted Monterey Jack, again served fully involved. For all of your BBQ lovers out there, the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket is sure to hit the spot! Served with USDA choice beef brisket smoked over hickory for hours, then smothered in melted cheddar & topped off with Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce. Don't worry, if your not a Southerner, Firehouse Subs didn't forget about you, they rolled out the New York Steamer, with corned beef brisket, pastrami, melted provolone, mustard, mayo & Italian dressing, this one hit a home run for my Hubby- he was born in big NY.

The Firehouse Hero is made with premium roast beef, smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham, melted provolone & served fully involved. Getting your sub fully involved means that it is loaded up with mayo, deli mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion & a kosher dill pickle on the side.

I will have to say the Firehouse Meatball is my favorite, crafted with Italian meatballs, melted provolone, zesty marinara & Italian season, even the meatball alone looked so delicious! I did eat this sub with a fork & savored every bite of that mouth watering meatball!

The final sub that was brought out was the Turkey Bacon Ranch & this I think is Hubby's favorite, it is combined with all of his favorite flavors like peppercorn ranch, sharp cheddar cheese, Smithfield bacon & smoked turkey breast! What a mouth full!

Once you've enjoyed a hot specialty sub, salad or even cold sub, you will want to grab a sweet treat before you head out the door! Grab a freshly baked cookie or brownie & don't forget to share!

Thank you to the Firehouse Subs in Alliance for a fantastic experience, did I mention that I returned the next day to grab a Free Sub for my birthday? Yup, you read that right, I'm addicted! Visit any Firehouse Subs on your birthday & show your drivers license, then pick your medium sub of choice & get it for free! Pretty awesome, right!?

Great giveaway! We haven't been to a Firehouse Subs in awhile. Good reminder! Hubby loves his Cherry Dr Pepper like you though I think he likes the Cherry Vanilla. I'd get the smoked turkey first. :)
