I said goodbye to my baby brother today

So that handsome young guy in the picture above is my amazing baby brother. I said good bye to him today as he left for boot camp. In thirteen weeks I will see him again in sunny California, I will watch him graduate as a Marine.
I could not be more proud of this kid, I love him with all of my heart!

With that being said, I am on a mission, starting Monday (7/22) I am working out, getting into shape, shedding those inches & dropping the pounds.
I want to loose thirteen pounds & possibly more but my goal for the moment is thirteen.
Thirteen pounds will put me at my goal weight & the weight I was before I had Little Sister C.
I want those pounds to be gone when I see my baby brother in thirteen weeks in Cali!
That's a pound a week, I think I can do that, wait I know I can do it!

So I will try to post weekly updates, if I don't, please remind me! Life gets busy! Lol

So here goes to loosing weight while thinking of my brother who is training hard, sweating his butt off & becoming a Marine to serve this beautiful country!

Oh gosh, this reminds me of when my son went for the Army. I was at work and he was there with me and I cried and sobbed for 3-4 days. I was SO bad of letting my son leave that they kept me working in the back room because I looked so bad from crying. Crazy but it broke my heart and I hated letting him go.

This Boot camp is a challenge and it is a lot of hard work. I had a relative go through this boot camp and it is the hardest of any in the military. I am saying thank you to your brother for wanting to join the military to protect our country!! I hope to get to see a picture with him in his uniform
