FALLing For Baby with Art Kandy

*This is a guest post from Janessa of the blog Thrifty Nifty Mommy. All opinions are her own.*

With each of my pregnancies, one of my favorite things has been designing the nursery. It is so much fun to pick out their bedding, furniture, and all those other little personal touches that make a nursery unique and your own. I tend to pick themes each time that are less mainstream and one of the hardest parts has been finding decor for the wall. Thankfully, I was recently introduced to an amazing online gallery where you can buy original art and prints from classic and contemporary children's books and illustration. It's called Art Kandy.

Some of the greatest characters in illustrated literature can be found at Art Kandy, including Curious George, Eloise, Popeye, Tintin, Calvin & Hobbes, and the Cat in the Hat. Among the many artisists represented are Dr. Seuss, Maurice Sendak, Mo Willems, Beatrix Potter, David Shannon and Hilary Knight. Along with prints and posters are rare treasures like Garth Williams' original pen and ink drawings from E.B. White's Stuart Little and vintage Little Golden Book art by Richard Scarry!
In addition to children's book art, the site highlights limited edition signed art prints by the late Ray Bradbury, special effects master Ray Harryhausen, and Tolkien art from the famed Bros. Hildebrandt.  What a fun, unique way to decorate your child's bedroom! What was your favorite childhood book?
