FALLingForBaby with Safety 1st

Today, Megan from Housewife on a Mission has a review and giveaway of the Safety 1st Elite 80 Air + 3-in-1 Car Seat!

Having a safe car seat for my children is one of the most important things for them to have as children. When being pregnant with your first child, looking at all the car seats may very overwhelming- trust me, I know! Recently, Safety 1st came out with a new car seat called the Elite 80 Air + 3-in-1 and I'm so excited to tell you about this car seat! Your child can use this car seat from infancy (5 pounds) to "big kid" (100 pounds) it grows with them!

The Elite 80 Air + 3-in-1 Car Seat features our new Air Protect + to keep children from 5-80 pounds safer during the ride.  Air Protect + combines the advanced protection of our Air Protect cushion system with patented GCell HX™ foam designed with hexagonal shapes for superior protection around the torso. TOGETHER they provide full body side impact protection.

Since this car seat can be used from infancy to big kid, it has a 4 position recline. I love this because it can recline back really far for when you child is a baby, and it can go up nice and straight when your child is a big kid.

I also love the head rest! It's super easy to move up and down- there are 10 positions total. The best part is when moving the headrest, you do not have to re-thread the harness for shoulder height!! This is awesome because I can change the car seat's settings of how my daughter has it, to how my son would need it within 1 minute!! Just simply move the headrest down, recline the seat back one notch and tighten the harness in the front of the car seat (thanks to Safety 1st' QuickFit).

There is even more padding included with this car seat that I did not include in the picture above. This is great for when your baby is an infant and is in the infant position. I'm so impressed with all the optional padding in this car seat to secure a baby and make a baby feel comfortable!

Easy to identify color-coded belt paths and installation labels

I love that the rear-facing and forward-facing positions are color coded, so that you know for sure which path is the correct one for the seat belt, for which ever position you have the car seat in.

Visual instructions for the proper use of this car is really great to have! You also have the red line indicators letting you know if you have the car seat reclined enough or too much for your child.

Installing this car seat really is so simple with the push button latches. To click the latches in place, you simple take each latch and push them into each latch bar in your vehicle. To take out, you click the red button on the latches...so easy!

Take a look at the back of this car seat- it has a steel reinforced metal frame! Yes, this car seat is heavy, but I believe that is a good thing when it comes to car seats. It is not like you have to take it out all the time like an infant car seat, so that is a plus.

Rear facing...

This car seat can be used in rear facing mode until your baby is 40 pounds! Yay for extended rear facing!

The harness can be used with your child until they are 80 pounds, and in the seat belt position, it can be used until they are 100 pounds! This car seat really does grow with your child!

Overall, I love this car seat! It's perfect to have from the time your child is born, all they way until they are ready to be in the seat belt position. The quality is great, and there is even an added bonus with 2 cup holders. I high recommend this car seat and am in love with it!
