Owlet Baby Care Vitals Monitor Giveaway

*This is a guest post from Janessa at Thrifty Nifty Mommy*

I am really excited to share this giveaway with you today because it's for a product that I, in a small (okay, very, very small) way, helped to develop. I answered some questions about the device during the planning phase for the developers, and I have been so eager to see this project hit the market. It's the Owlet Baby Care Vitals Monitor

Owlet Baby Care is a baby product company that produced the world’s first baby Vitals Monitor.  Founded in 2012 by entrepreneur, engineer, and father-to-be, Kurt Workman, Owlet’s mission is to do good in the world while creating products that simplify parenthood.
Every parent lives in fear of SIDS. I can't tell you the number of times I have checked in on my babies just to watch them breath and as a mom of 2, I believe that this new device will give parents peace of mind. I would love to have one of these before my next child is born. (No, I'm not pregnant, but do plan to have more children in the future.)

The Owlet Vitals Monitor is able to monitor your baby's breathing, heart rate, temperature, sleep quality, and even sleep position.  All of this information is sent directly to your iPhone or Android or computer via wifi.
There is a crowdfunding campaign on the Owlet Baby Care website right now to jumpstart this business. With still 12 days left, they have already exceeded their goal of raising 100K! This is an exciting product that people are eager to get their hands on and I know you will be too!
Connect: Find out more about Owlet Baby Care by visiting their website, then "like" them on Facebook, and follow on Twitter and Pinterest.
Buy It: You can purchase this monitor directly from the website. It is priced at $199, but for a limited time, if you click here, you can use code "OWLET_IS_SO_UNBELIEVEABLE" to purchase it for just $159.
Win It: One lucky reader will win their own Owlet Baby Care Vitals Monitor!
Open to the US only.  Ends 9/27/13 at 11:59 PM EST.
Enter using the Giveaway Tools form below. Good luck!

I would like to win this giveaway because I am a first time mom due in November. I actually discovered the owelet on pinterest, and then this pops up in my feed on facebook today! I was immediately drawn to it because it does so much more than a baby monitor! Peace of mind...

We lost our first baby last summer, and are expecting again this winter. This would give me a lot of peace of mind, as I am going be such an over protective mother this time around.

I would LOVE to try this with my baby. Although I'm an RN & this is my 4th baby, I still lose sleep at night worrying that my baby is going to stop breathing if I stop watching her!
