We're In Cahoots With Santa Mamas and Papas Babyplay Tummy Time Octopus

I know that I have a LOT of fans who have new babies in the house (or will have a new baby soon). We couldn't have a holiday gift guide without some good suggestions for babies and when I think babies, I think Mamas & Papas. Their baby items are not only practical, they are stylish and adorable too! I think the Babyplay Tummy Time Octopus is the perfect present for the little baby in your life! When the Mamas & Papas Babyplay Tummy Time Octopus arrived (I was sent one at no cost to facilitate this post), I was pleased to find it in a reusable travel/storage bag. As a mom planning to have more children in the future, one of the first things I think about with baby equipment is how easy or hard it will be to store. This toy can be stored in the closet, under a bed, or even in my basement. The plastic covering will keep it from getting dusty during storage.

Putting this floor toy together was so easy. I have never seen another play mat use this system of attaching the arms but I LOVE it! All you need to do is attached four buckles. You will have it set up and ready to go in less than 60 seconds. The buckles are hidden inside of little fabric pockets, so once attached, you won't even see the buckles.

Let's talk about the toys. There are 5 different toy attachments: 2 fish, 1 mirror, 1 octopus, and 1 star.  Each of these toys will appeal to your child's senses in different ways. For instance, the star makes a "squeak" noise, the octopus has a rattle sound, and the mirror allows your baby to see himself/herself.  These toys are detachable and can be moved to the loops on the side of the octopus for tummy time play or you can add additional toys you have on hand.

And how about that adorable octopus?! His head is super soft and plushy--perfect for tummy time or a soft place for baby's head when he is laying on his back.  The eight legs on this octopus will excite baby with their different textures and sounds. When your child is older, you can remove the arms to give your child a fun, soft place to sit. I actually did this at our house and caught my son (18 months) sitting on it a number of times. Of course, every time I reached for my camera to snap his picture he giggled and took off running. Boys!

I don't know if I've ever seen a floor toy as adorable as this, and it is certainly one of the comfiest! If there is a baby on your holiday list, make sure you check out this adorable playmat from Mamas & Papas!
