Scotties Tissues Prize Pack Review and Giveaway

Winter is still here & with the Texas weather changing constantly we are always fighting colds or wiping our runny noises. This week we had a dramatic change from a bright & sunny 70 degree weekend to temperatures dropping in the 30's, cold & rainy-yuck!

Thank goodness for Scotties, my review package arrived just in time & I was so excited to share with my family these super soft facial tissues & with the help of Scotties, you can be ready for when the common cold strikes!

Here's a few treatment tips:
  • Humidification – add a humidifier to your home or steam a pot of water in the kitchen.
  • Steam vapor – take a hot shower and breath in the steam
  • oral decongestants,
  • nasal saline irrigation and select nasal sprays,
  • Aspirin or acetaminophen may be useful for the body aches that may accompany the first 24 -48 hours of a cold.

Scotties adds their own TOP 5 measures including:
  • Sleep – make sure to give your body the rest it requires to naturally rid the body of a cold.
  • Exercise can be useful to thin out mucus and increase the activity of white blood cells - if the person feels well enough to workout.
  • Warm soup or hot tea can soothe a sore throat.
  • Vitamin C & Zinc – stock up on foods high in these immune boosting properties
  • A soft tissue like that from Scotties can help alleviate nasal blockage and congestion.

We love Scotties Facial Tissues in our home, Little Sister C has placed a  box of tissues in every room, she wants Scotties to be handy at the first sign of a cold or runny nose!

Buy it: Scotties Facial Tissues can be purchased at most major retailers, I found some at stores all around me!

Win it: One lucky reader will win a prize pack including Scotties Facial Tissues & a $25 gift card to Target!
