The First Years Potty System Giveaway #GoodbyeBabyHelloToddler

Today is day 3 in my GoodBye Baby, Hello Toddler event!
Today we have a review and giveaway of The First Years!

Growing out of infancy and becoming a toddler involves lots of fun new adventures and milestones. One of the biggest ones that can either be easy or hard, depending on the child, is potty training! I have to be honest, my daughter was really easy to potty train; she caught on very quickly and had maybe 2 accidents...ever! She realized the yucky feeling of peeing in her panty's and hated so, plus she liked being a big girl on the potty, so it was a very good experience. My son has just turned 21 months old and is showing signs of interested of potty training, and the thought of it is terrifying haha. I hope I have the same good experience potty training him as I did my daughter.

I was recently contacted by The First Years to review their Disney Pixar Cars Racing Mission Potty System, and I knew my son was going to love it! I was right!
The Disney Pixar Cars Racing Mission Potty System by The First Years makes toilet training easier and less intimidating for your toddler. The fun Cars 2 design and engine sounds encourage your toddler to use the potty as his or her first toilet. The potty seat has a soft cushion for your child's comfort and high pee shield. Potty seat also detaches to fit the family toilet. The lift-out pot makes for easy emptying and cleaning. This 3-in-1 potty system works as a stand-alone potty, a trainer seat for your toilet, and the sturdy base converts to a handy step stool.

When the potty arrived at our home, my son was super excited! I think we all were- my 5 year old
daughter was excited to tell my son how to use the potty, and my husband and I were excited to take the next step of potty training and think about what the new adventure would bring us.

So, as mentioned in the description above, this potty system is 3-in-1. It can be used as a potty, a trainer seat for your toilet, and a step stool. We'll be using this potty system as a stand alone potty for quite awhile- until my son outgrows it, and then we will use the trainer seat to add to our toilet. What I like about this potty seat, is the cushion is soft to sit on, and it has a high pee shield--much needed!! Also, the yellow pot lifts out for easy dumping and cleaning.

You'll notice in the second picture below, a blue button. When pushing this button you right away hear car engine sounds. I love this, because we are teaching our son he can push this button after he does his business. He gets so excited and happy to push the button, and I'm sure he feels proud as well!

The picture right above is showing my son stand on the base and using it as a step stool. Definitely sturdy to stand on, I'm not worried or concerned at all when he is free standing on it.

Here's my little man on his new Cars Racing Mission Potty! He loves it so much and has to point out his potty throughout the day to me and say "my potty"! Too cute!

We definitely recommend this potty! If you have a girl, The First Years also has a Disney Princess Magical Sparkle Potty System. I know every little girl would love that potty!

I'd like the Cars potty for my twins. I'm just barely starting to think about potty training.
