STEMpowerkids Review

School maybe out for the summer, but that doesn't mean your children need to stop exploring & learning! We love learning in our home & my children always get so excited when new toys, activities, or anything in a package for them arrives at our door! Since we are hitting triple digit's here in Texas, during the hottest times of the day we like to stay indoors & stay cool, STEMpowerkids boxes are the perfect way to pass the time while having fun!

STEMpowerkids is a monthly subscription service delivered to your front door that promote your child's curiosity, creativity, comfort & abilities in Science, Technology, Engineering & Math!

Each STEMpowerkids box contains 4 or more STEM activities, like science experiments, math games, engineering challenges & more! These kits are great for ages 3 & up to work on with an adult & each box contains a book with detailed descriptions of the activity, what you'll need, the experiment & the explanation.

I was sent two different subscription boxes for my review purposes from STEMpowerkids, I knew Little Sister C would really enjoy these hands on activities!

The STEMpowerkids Mind Over Matter box contained:
  • Cornstarch
  • Twisty dropper
  • Measuring cups
  • Two plastic cups marked A & B
  • String
  • Hanger
  • Snow powder
  • 3 Sheets of paper
The STEMpowerkids boxes were a big hit, my daughter had so much fun learning about mind over matter & experimenting with cornstarch, water & using the twisty dropper to make Gak!

Once we had tried a Mind Over Matter activity, it was time to try out an experiment from the Chemists have solutions box!

Our STEMpowerkids Chemists have solutions box contained:
  • Test tubes
  • Food coloring
  • Test tube rack
  • Sugar
  • Flour
  • Alka-Seltzer tablet
  • Rice
  • Straw
  • Cooking oil
  • Tiny canister with lid
  • Safety glasses

I think my daughter was more excited over this one, she loved watching the water change colors right before her eyes with the food coloring! The clear test tubes are the perfect size & she loved mixing the colors to see what combination she could create!

We can't wait to explore more & try out more experiments like Growing Snow & creating a Tiny Canister Rocket!

So what do you think? Wouldn't your little one love STEM projects & activities delivered straight to your door?! Sign up for STEMpowerkids & get a 6 month subscription for only $19.99 a month, feel free to stay connected with STEMpowerkids on Facebook & Twitter!

My little nephew would love to get one of these delivered to his house and play with it. It looks like hours of fun and what a great way to keep him occupied.
