Week 1 of Nutrisystem #NSNation




So week 1 was a lot harder than I imagined, I cut back on my soda/caffeine intake & went several days without having a soda which in turn delivered a few headaches here & there. Towards the end of the week I did end up having a diet dr pepper, it's just so hard to give up the dr p! I will also have to learn/practice more on juggling holiday events, this was one of our busiest weekends with my Mom's birthday & the 4th of July, we had two cookouts to attend. I didn't bring my Nutrisystem with me, but I did eat smaller portions & stayed away from the carbs/breads & junk. 

I've been drinking a ton of water, which means more bathroom breaks haha but I immediately noticed a few days into the week that I don't feel bloated or tired after I eat, which is great!

The Fast 5 this first week was tough, I enjoyed the afternoon shakes over the morning ones but I'm loving the convenience of Nutrisystem meals & I'm enjoying smaller portioned foods & learning how to watch my calorie intake. 

June 30th started my weight loss journey, so I weighed in & measured that day. So here's the number break down: 

Upper arms- 14 inches
Chest- 36 inches
Waist- 33 inches
Hips- 38 inches
Thighs- 25 inches

Starting weight was 164.8

Weight as of July 6th is 160.1

Total weight loss so far: 4.7 pounds

I also didn't work out as much in week 1 as I had planned, so hoping to get more in this week but overall I think it was a pretty good week!

Dieting during the 4th of July weekend - hard!! Today I'm having a green smoothie for breakfast.
