Peekapak Review and Giveaway

It's not secret that Little Sister C has a creative side, she's always enjoyed coloring, crafting & spending hours at the kitchen table. We also enjoy working on projects together, so when I was recently introduced to Peekapak, I knew this would be a fun subscription box for us to check out!

Peekapak encourages family play through reading together, creating together & playing together. Every month, children receive an adventure pack that contains an exciting new book along with all the materials required to build objects from the story.

We received a limited edition Peekapak, "The Hero of Color City" pack, I couldn't wait to open up our new box & explore what was inside with my daughter!

Inside our Peekapak box was everything we needed to join the Peekapak Pals on adventure to create Color City Marina, The Hero of Color City Characters & Peekapak Pals Cut-Outs. We had 2 paper rolls, yellow & blue cut-outs, 4 googly eyes, adhesive dots, scissors, yarn, clear cup, red cup, rectangle stickers, LED tea light, canvas board, foil sheet & crayons.

Along with all of the materials we needed, the Peekapak box also contained a Peekapak Age Guide, Note to Grown-Ups, a welcome letter & more!

I love how organized Peekapak is, they give step by step directions along with play tips & they even mention development traits & behavioral traits to observe!

After taking everything out of the box & sorting through the three different activities, it was time for Little Sister C to start creating!

There were a few steps she could do on her own, I helped her along the way while we discussed what it means to be a hero & the courage that goes along with it. I encouraged her to use her imagination & she did just that!

It's important for young minds to learn & explore first hand, it's good for them to use fine motor skills & I love getting crafty with my kids, it's so much more fun when we all play & learn together!

Overall, we've really enjoyed our first Peekapak box, it wasn't too simple yet it wasn't super complicated either, she's almost 4, so I think it's the perfect age range for her to enjoy! I can't wait to see what adventures she will take her Peekapak Pals on while in Color City!

So what do you think? Do you have a little one at home who would enjoy the "Hero of Color City"?
