Holiday Meals with Dickey's Barbecue Pit

How was everyone's Thanksgiving? I hope you enjoyed every moment with your family & friends, my Mom hosted this year & it was a terrific day, surrounded by loved ones & a delicious spread. While my Mom & Step-Dad cooked & baked sides, as well as desserts, Dickey's Barbecue Pit was our main course & it was a big hit all the way around the table!

Dickey's Barbecue Pit is no secret to my family, it's pretty popular here in Texas & I'm pretty sure everyone I know has a secret love for BBQ! Back in January we reviewed the Buttery Cornbread Sandwiches, so I knew this Holiday Feast from Dickey's was going to be amazing!

I do apologize for lack of pictures, we were all excited, hungry & well, before I knew it, I couldn't grab my camera fast enough before we were filling our stomachs with turkey & all the fixings! A few days prior I called in to my closest Dickey's location & placed an order for a Holiday Feast, the manager was polite, took my information & I arrived first thing at 9am Wednesday morning & they had my order packaged & ready to go!

From the moment I walked into Dickey's I was greeted, everyone was polite & I was in & out in under 10 minutes! Mr Melendez, the manager, assisted me with my order & even helped me carry the bags of food out to my truck, I couldn't wait to get home & share my Holiday Meal from Dickey's!

I was provided with a Holiday Feast courtesy of Dickey's Barbecue Pit, it included a choice of ham or turkey (smoked or Cajun-fried), cornbread dressing & gravy, green beans with bacon, baked potato casserole & a dozen buttery rolls.

This morning I unpacked everything & got to work, my Mom helped me heat up all of the sides & the Cajun-fried turkey, since we have such a huge family, it was so nice to be able to share all of these delicious foods with out all of the hard work. Yes we did create some of favorites to add on, like sweet potato casserole, traditional green bean casserole & a ton of sweet desserts.

It was so nice to have a helping hand in the kitchen & I couldn't imagine Thanksgiving with out Dickey's, seriously every bite was delicious, satisfying & everyone couldn't help but go back for second & third helpings!

I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to include Dickey's Barbecue Pit in our Thanksgiving celebration this year! Be sure to include Dickey's this year in your holiday gathering, their Holiday Meals are available for order through out the month of December!

You can place your order online or in person at your nearest Dickey's, feel free to stay connected with Dickey's Barbecue Pit on Facebook & Twitter!

Agreed! Dickie's is delicious! I think I like the idea of ordering food to take down the stress of making everything.

Mmmmm!! Everything looks delicious!! I live up north so I think I'm missing out :/
Ps. I love that the manager helped you carry out the bags to your car! Personal customer service is so nice to have and isn't seen as much anymore, so that was very nice to read! :)

I wish soo much there was a great place like this near me, nothing like it at all! I'd be there all the time, holidays, too, and I'd be the favorite hostess!!!
