Morning time is the busiest time of day here, I'm rushing around getting ready, getting the kids ready, taking care of the dog, etc. We have a great morning routine, but it's busy, fast & doesn't allow time for a full sit down meal. Most of the time my children enjoy waffles, pancakes with yogurt or a side of fruit, I've been wanting to change things up so I thought I'd try adding in a smoothie the other morning while we were enjoying cinnamon raisin toast! Well, the kids loved it, this recipe made two full glasses & it was just enough to split between the three of us!
- A glass of ice
- 1 1/2 cups of orange juice
- 1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt
- One banana
- One to two cups of strawberries
- One teaspoon of honey
- I love my Ninja blender, so I just threw everything into my blender & that was it! Pour into cups & add straws for the little ones to enjoy!
