SafetyTat: Kids Temporary Safety Tattoos

(Disclosure: I received a package of SafetyTat's for my personal use & for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own)

As a parent of a special needs child sometimes I can find myself worrying, I worry about things I probably shouldn't be worrying about. Like most parents the "what if" scenarios occasionally play out in my head, the thought of losing my child in a store or at the mall is absolutely terrifying. As a single parent, I take my children everywhere, so it's important for me to have a plan in place should an emergency arise.

Big Brother C is not a "runner", he's never ran away from me and thankfully I've never lost him. However, I do worry about what would happen if he were to get separated from me - what would he do? and where would he go? My son is non-verbal, so he wouldn't be able to communicate to anyone that he is lost. So I went to the internet in search of ideas and I came across SafetyTat!

SafetyTat is a fun and colorful temporary safety tattoo for kids! They are available in a variety of designs and styles including butterflies, trains, nut allergy, Autism and more! SafetyTat can be easily applied to your child's arm, and provides a highly visible form of identification, they are also sweatproof and waterproof!

After browsing the selection that SafetyTat has to offer, I chose the "I have Autism" design. This temporary tattoo, features a puzzle piece, it's bright blue and has one line for identification. Before adding the tattoo's into my online shopping cart, I simply entered my phone number for emergency contact. You also have the option of purchasing 24, 48, 72 or 96 packs of tattoos. Once my order was placed, the SafetyTat's arrived within a few days and I couldn't wait to apply one to my son!

SafetyTat's are easy to apply, simply peel off the transparent layer & place the tattoo wherever you would like on your child. You can apply to your child's arm, leg, foot, hand, etc. Take a wet paper towel and gently place it over the backing of the tattoo and that's it! Once I had applied it to the top of my son's foot, he didn't even notice it was there!

I really love the idea behind SafetyTat, these are a must have, don't ya think?!

Oh these look great! My daughter has a severe peanut allergy so we could use these! I like that they're waterproof and sweat proof. Thanks for sharing!
