At the beginning of this year I received my first Fitbit, I started off with the Flex. After downloading the Fitbit app and a few days in, I was hooked. I'm very active to begin with, I'm on my feet all day so I was excited to see how many steps I was really getting in on a normal day.
Well fast forward a few months - I started walking daily on top of my regular schedule, and this summer I upgraded from the Flex to the Charge. My stats just keep getting better and better, soon I found myself not only hitting my 10,000 step goal daily but going over by a few thousand every day.
If you follow m on Instagram, you probably saw that this past weekend I did 40,000 steps in two days! That is a new personal record for me, I was so proud of myself!
I seriously love my Fitbit, I even have friends and family doing "Weekend Warrior" and "Workweek Hustle" challenges! Fitbit really keeps me moving and gives me the motivation to walk, walk, walk. Exercise is so important, even if it's a 30 minute walk around the block once a day, you should be doing it! Get out, enjoy the air, walk the dog and get those steps in!
With the Fitbit app you can even see how many calories you've burned, how many flights of stairs you've done, what your sleep schedule is like, track your weight, active minutes and so much more! I'm a big visual person, so I love to open up my app several times a day and see where I'm at on my progress!
